Maximum display capacity does not mean every sensor is included. Additional rooms and environmental parameters require suitable inputs, external sensors or supported network values. Verify the exact part number, software and signal allocation.
Which monitor should I shortlist?
- One room, pressure indication and an analogue BMS input: start with Lite and confirm the required alarm version.
- A room and anteroom with a touchscreen and BACnet MS/TP: assess SRCM with a complete pressure-sensor and input schedule.
- Several environmental parameters or BACnet/IP: assess FLEX. Select RM or RC according to whether the device will monitor or also control equipment.
- Modbus RTU is required: Controls Direct also supplies Dwyer RSMC, with documented BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU interfaces. Confirm the required model and BMS points.
Application guidance
Hospitals, isolation rooms and operating theatres
Start with the approved Room Data Sheet and mechanical specification. Establish the required pressure relationship, adjoining reference space, local display, audible alarm, door response and staff-station indication. For theatres, coordinate temperature, humidity and airflow information with the operating requirements.
Laboratories and cleanrooms
Map the containment boundaries or pressure cascade. Decide which relationships need dedicated sensors, where displays belong and which readings must be trended. Confirm calibration access and the response when a sensor, network or ventilation component fails.
Pharmacies and pharmaceutical facilities
Identify the preparation or manufacturing activity and the applicable facility requirements before selecting alarms and sensors. Pressure monitoring is one part of the environmental monitoring and qualification arrangement; it does not replace cleanroom testing or a contamination-control strategy.
BMS and mechanical contractors
Confirm the communication protocol early. Prepare a points list, sensor and cable schedule, input scaling, alarm priorities and commissioning procedure. Allow for pressure pickups, tubing, power, mounting accessories and external sensors in the complete quotation.
Request a project selection or quotation
Send Controls Direct the room schedule, drawings, pressure range in Pa, temperature and humidity requirements, rooms per display, alarm philosophy, BMS interface, quantities and required delivery date. For a replacement, include the existing model, wiring and wall opening dimensions.

Can you help with a nominated alternative?
Provide the specified model and project requirements. We can assess an alternative against those requirements; matching the product category alone is not enough to establish equivalence.
Are temperature and humidity sensors included?
Do not assume they are. The quotation should identify every sensor and signal source required for the selected monitor.
Does the monitor guarantee Australian compliance?
No. The complete facility design, approved specification, installation, commissioning and operating procedures determine suitability.
