Johnson Controls announces the end-of-life (EOL) of selected EasyIO hardware (FS, FW, FC, and FD Series) and the CPT engineering tool.
This action reflects evolving cybersecurity, regulatory, and technology requirements impacting product lifecycle and support.
To support continuity and modernization, partners are advised to transition to the EasyIO Neo Series controllers and the EP engineering tool. A dedicated migration tool is available to support conversion of existing applications and reduce engineering effort.
EasyIO Neo Series provides a modern IP-based controller platform aligned with current BAS and IT expectations, including enhanced cybersecurity, broader protocol support, and scalable I/O architecture.
Partners can place last-time buy orders for affected EasyIO products until August 30, 2026.
CPT follows a separate timeline and reaches end of life on September 30, 2026. Partners should complete the transition from CPT to EP before that date.
